In memory of a cockroach

This is another sad story. I am totally responsible for this. You see I have this bad habit of walking without watching where I am going. I keep on thinking about what I write or what I have written. Yesterday when I was walking about like this I heard a noise and felt something under my foot wear. I jumped aside to take a look. Luckily no one was around to laugh at me. I never knew I can jump like that. If I knew I would have ended up at the Olympics. Current record holder should thank me for not taking part. Now back to the story. To my utmost horror I found a cockroach under my foot wear. It was struggling for his life. I just waited there watching the fellow suffer like a dummy. I couldn’t do anything to help. Felt like taking the fellow to the vet. But then again the vet will not be able to fix the broken parts. Clumsy me. Should have watched where I was going. Should have been mindful. This is awful. I really feel bad. So I thought of dedicating this post for that poor creature who sacrificed his life for my clumsiness. Now don’t laugh. This is not a laughing matter. I’m pretty serious.

I am not laughing. I promise I am not laughing. Your post was very funny but I would never laugh. Excuse me for a moment while I leave the room and try to control my urge to laugh.

Too bad your cockroach couldn't pop back into shape like WALL-E's pet cockroach...

'hitting the nail on the head' is a figure of speech, basically meaning... 'right on track' or 'you got it'... but thanks for visiting my blog. Hope you come back soon!

Oh! Did you really buy my story? How on earth can I search for nails in a blog? Just a silly joke. Sorry
